# Ingredients:

Chicken Breast

Use 1 lb (about 450 g) boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into small, uniform pieces for even cooking. Chicken adds lean protein and pairs well with cheese and garlic.

Garlic

Use 4 cloves of fresh garlic, minced. Fresh garlic gives robust flavor and an irresistible aroma when sautéed with olive oil and butter.

Mozzarella Cheese

2 cups shredded mozzarella offer that classic melty, stretchy texture. Combine with a bit of parmesan or cheddar for extra depth if desired.

Seasonings & Olive Oil

Season chicken with salt, pepper, and 1 tsp Italian seasoning. Cook in 2 tbsp olive oil for a golden, flavorful result.

Baguette or French Bread

Choose a sturdy baguette or loaf (12–14 inches). A crisp crust helps hold the toppings without getting soggy.

Fresh Parsley

Chopped parsley (a handful) adds brightness and color as a finish.

# Instructions:

  1. Preheat: Heat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the chicken: In a skillet, warm 2 tbsp olive oil over medium heat. Add seasoned diced chicken and cook 7–10 minutes until fully cooked and browned.
  3. Add garlic: Stir in minced garlic and sauté 30–60 seconds until fragrant (don’t burn).
  4. Mix cheese & seasoning: Remove from heat; stir in 1 cup shredded mozzarella and 1 tsp Italian seasoning so the mixture binds slightly.
  5. Prepare the bread: Slice the baguette lengthwise and place cut-side up on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  6. Assemble: Spread garlic butter on bread, top with the chicken mixture, then sprinkle the remaining mozzarella on top.
  7. Bake: Bake 15–20 minutes until cheese is bubbly and edges are golden. Broil 30–60 seconds if you want extra browning—watch closely.
  8. Finish & serve: Let rest 2–3 minutes, garnish with parsley, slice, and serve warm.
