Hi, I'm Brad
I've been cooking for my family for over 15 years. What started as a necessity when I became a stay-at-home parent turned into a deep love for creating meals that bring people together.
I don't have formal culinary training, but I've learned through trial, error, and thousands of family dinners. My background in education taught me how to break down complex processes into simple steps that anyone can follow.
Every recipe on this site has been tested in my own kitchen—often multiple times—to make sure it works for real home cooks with limited time and standard grocery store ingredients.
Who I Am

Why I Started This Site
After years of friends and family asking me to share my recipes, I launched Recipes by Brad in 2023 to document the dishes my family loves most.
I noticed that many recipe sites are either too complicated for weeknight cooking or rely on expensive specialty ingredients. I wanted to create a resource that reflects how real families cook: with what's already in the pantry and a focus on flavor over fuss.
My goal is to help other parents, busy professionals, and anyone who wants to enjoy home-cooked meals without spending hours in the kitchen or breaking the bank.
